I have been building websites of various shapes and sizes for over 15 years. Although my primary focus has been on Drupal front-ends for most of my career, in the last few years I have spent the majority of my time building headless React front-ends.
I worked with a large team in the development of a custom NextJS front-end for a major US art museum's eCommerce integrations. I worked directly with the client and our internal team to help define the scope of the eCommerce integration, establish epics and timelines in JIRA, and build and launch the final product.
I contributed to component development for a Gatsby-powereed headless Drupal implementation.
I partnered with a back-end developer and a Drupal architect to build a site powered partly by Acquia Site Studio (for marketing content), and partly by a custom React-powered portal embedded within the site. The portal provided the ability for users to authenticate and manage their subscriptions to a medical product.
I led the development of a "black-and-white" base theme to be shared across a number of pet food sites hosted in Acquia Cloud Site Factory, followed by the development of a sub-theme for specific brands.
This Drupal site relies heavily on Layout Builder, which at the time had just been introduced into Drupal core, to provide a friendly interface for editors to enter highly structured content. With assistance from our back-end team, I developed custom functionality to enhance the Layout Builder experience, consisting of a suite of custom modules designed to be reused on future projects.
